"Construction Debt and Equity Secured for Mixed-Use Project in Pawtucket"

Peyser Real Estate Group’s Dexter Street Commons, a mixed-use development in Pawtucket’s Conant Thread neighborhood, has successfully secured financing. The project received over $30 million from Rockland Trust and equity investments from AMJ Capital, Panot Capital and the Healthy Neighborhood Equity Fund (HNEF), which is administered by the Conservation Law Foundation and Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation.

Construction has already begun on this approximately $55 million project that will bring 150 energy-efficient housing units and commercial spaces to 71 Dexter St. This prime location is within walking distance of the new Pawtucket-Central Falls commuter rail station as well as downtown Pawtucket.

According to Manuel Vales, SVP Commercial Banking Officer at Rockland Trust, “This project marks an important step in revitalizing the Conant Thread District and injecting new vitality into this thriving community.”

In attendance for the announcement were Richard Muraida (SVP Director of CRE at Rockland Trust), Manny Vales (SVP Commercial Banking Officer at Rockland Trust), Jack Reed (Rhode Island Senior Senator), Darell A. Brown (VP Rhode Island Conservation Law Foundation) and Gabe Amo (Rhode Island Congressman).
