Continuum Advisors, a leading national firm specializing in senior housing investment sales and advisory services, has announced the successful sale of The Oaks at Bartlett. This 283-unit senior housing community is located approximately 35 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.
The sprawling campus spans over 37 acres and was built in 2007. It features a variety of living options including ten cottages,154 independent living apartments,49 assisted living units,16 memory care units,and54 skilled nursing units. Continuum Advisors’ co-founders David Kliewer and Jay Jordan were instrumental in facilitating this transaction through an extensive marketing campaign that attracted multiple bidders.
The sale process was conducted under court supervision with Michael F. Flanagan from Flanagan & Associates LLC serving as the Receiver.This ultimately resulted in the property being sold for $42 million to a well-known institutional investor on a national level.
According to David Kliewer,”This successful sale will bring about long-term financial stability for The Oaks at Bartlett under new ownership.Additionally,it will allow for significant investments to be made into upgrading both common areas and individual residences.” Overall,this deal marks another milestone achievement for Continuum Advisors as they continue their track record of delivering exceptional results within the senior housing market.
