Hendrick Motorsports plans to invest $35 million in a new 260,000-square-foot manufacturing facility near its Concord campus. According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the town has offered incentives worth $124,950 for this project.

The proposed site for the facility is located at 4295 Defender Way NW in Concord and covers an area of 27 acres. It is conveniently situated less than two miles away from Charlotte Motor Speedway.

If approved, this project will add to Hendrick Motorsports’ previous investments in advanced manufacturing facilities in Concord. The first one was announced back in January of 2023 with a budget of $15 million. Additionally, Hendrick had also planned for another speculative advanced manufacturing plant spanning over an area of 269,500 square feet. Similar incentives were provided by the city for this project as well.
