Marcus & Millichap, a leading real estate investment firm, recently facilitated the sale of 254-258 W. 35th St., a traditional office building located in Midtown Manhattan. The property was sold for $16,150,000 and was previously used as a garment manufacturing facility.
The transaction was handled by Eric Anton and John Stewart from Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office. They represented the seller and were able to secure a local private investor as the buyer. “We are thrilled to have successfully closed this deal in Midtown Manhattan,” said Anton. “Both parties worked closely together over the past two months to complete due diligence and ensure a smooth closing process.”
Originally built in 1924, this 16-story building spans over 106,642 square feet of space that has been under ownership by one group for several decades now. Located in Midtown West near Moynihan Train Hall and major subway lines, it offers excellent connectivity options for tenants along with being situated within an evolving neighborhood that is becoming increasingly popular among tech and media companies.
This successful transaction marks another achievement for Marcus & Millichap’s impressive portfolio of deals completed across various markets nationwide.
