Colliers successfully facilitated the sale of the prestigious Cambridge Matignon School campus to Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School. The property, located at 1 Matignon Rd. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, spans over 7.8 acres and features a total of 83,136 square feet including playing fields, science labs, an auditorium and a gymnasium.
Led by Vice Chair James Elcock and VP John Real from Colliers’ team represented the sellers – Archdiocese of Boston – in this transaction.

The Cambridge Matignon School has long been recognized for its exceptional education standards and dedication to serving its local community. On the other hand,Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School was established in 2012 as a public charter school catering to students from kindergarten through eighth grade within Cambridge.
According to Real,”Cambridge continues to be one of the most sought-after locations for educational institutions due to its strong academic background and vibrant community.” He further added that “this particular property’s prime location coupled with valuable amenities made it an ideal choice for remaining as a school given its strategic position within such high-demand area.”
