Colliers recently facilitated the sale of a prestigious 110,000-square-foot Class A office building located at 500 Washington St. in San Francisco’s Jackson Square submarket. The specific sale price has not been disclosed.
The transaction was successfully completed by Colliers’ Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) Bob Gilley, Kevin Moul, Andy Zighelboim, Brad Idleman and Scott MacIntyre and Vice President (VP) Michaela Lalanne on behalf of the seller – The Public Policy Institute of California. Consultants from Revise Group – Peter Mugford, Megan Campbell and Alex Palmisano also played a key role in representing the seller during this process. Brick & Timber Collective was identified as the buyer.
According to a statement released by Colliers’ team members involved in this deal: “500 Washington is an exceptional jewel box building that adds tremendous value to San Francisco’s Jackson Square submarket.” This building was constructed back in 1982 and boasts an enviable location on a prominent corner near one of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks – Transamerica Pyramid.
