Batch Freight (BATCH), a technology company specializing in logistics, is moving its headquarters from downtown Chicago to a larger office space.
According to the Chicago Business Journal, the local firm has signed a lease for 214 W. Huron St., nearly doubling its current office footprint at 212 W. Superior St. The deal was facilitated by CBRE’s Tony Coglianese and Brad Serot representing Batch Freight and Abby McFadyen representing GoHealth, while Brookfield Growth provided financing.
The new location spans approximately 20,000 square feet and was previously occupied by GoHealth before being purchased by Batch Freight’s co-founders Brandon Cruz and Clinton Jones. As the parent company of Next Trucking, CDL, and Hickory Transportation Services,Batch Freight CEO Andrew Sobko stated that they recognized the importance of being centrally located as they continue to expand their national operations.
