Will Tipton has joined the Shea Properties team as Senior Vice President of Retail and Multi-Use Development. In this role, he will focus on expanding the Aliso Viejo-based company’s retail footprint in California through acquisitions, planning, entitlement processes, leasing activities, budgeting and construction.
Tipton brings extensive commercial real estate experience to his new position; most recently serving as Managing Director and Partner at Merlone Geier – a private real estate investment firm specializing in acquisition/development/redevelopment of retail properties with mixed use components. Prior to his 10+ year tenure at Merlone Geier he held a partner role with Pacific Development Group where he managed all aspects of project development.
