McKinney is making strides in its efforts to revitalize the downtown area with a new redevelopment initiative. The project, which will bring offices, restaurants, a hotel and event space to the city center, has partnered with M2G Ventures as its development partner. Negotiations are currently underway between city staff and M2G for the redevelopment of city-owned land.
The plan includes construction on five blocks within the downtown area:
– A mixed-use block that will feature commercial developments such as restaurants and offices up to five stories tall.
– A six-story hotel complete with event space and additional commercial offerings.
– A five-story multifamily building featuring an integrated parking garage.
In addition to these structures, there are plans for a public parking garage just north of downtown that will provide 250 spaces.
M2G Ventures brings extensive experience in property acquisition and development to this project. With over 4.5 million square feet already acquired by their team – including adaptive reuse projects, warehouse transformations, historic building redevelopments,and large-scale industrial developments – they have proven themselves capable of delivering successful results.
