Manuel Garibay has joined Urban Renaissance Group LLC as their new Chief Investment Officer, expanding the company’s executive team. With over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development, Garibay brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. He was previously a founding partner at local real estate firm Kamiak and has managed more than $2.5 billion in investments across various sectors and locations.
Before joining URG, Garibay held positions at Blackstone’s EQ Office platform where he oversaw a 3.7 million square foot office portfolio in the Pacific Northwest region as Vice President. Prior to that, he worked on portfolio management and acquisitions for Vulcan Real Estate based in Seattle.
In his new position as CIO, Garibay will be responsible for developing and implementing URG’s growth strategy while overseeing all investment activities including acquisitions, development projects,and asset management initiatives.He will also manage relationships with institutional investors and private partners who provide capital for the company’s ventures.
