Marcus & Millichap has successfully completed the sale of Old South Self Storage, a premier self-storage property located in Nantucket, MA. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
According to Michael Palladino, an associate at Marcus & Millichap who facilitated the deal along with Kevin Bledsoe and Matthew Junkin from their King of Prussia office, this unique asset garnered significant interest from both local and regional buyers due to its prime location and potential for growth. Ultimately, a favorable deal was reached that met both the seller’s expectations and the buyer’s long-term investment goals. Palladino expressed his pleasure in facilitating this transaction which contributes to further development within Nantucket’s distinctive real estate market.
The sale was arranged by Thomas Shihadeh, Broker of Record in Massachusetts who assisted in finalizing all aspects of the transaction.
Located at 54 Old South Rd., Old South Self Storage offers 198 climate-controlled units spanning over 17,000 square feet. This state-of-the-art facility was constructed just three years ago making it one out four storage properties currently operating on Nantucket Island.
