At 2,000 acres, AXIS Logistics Park is set to become one of the largest master planned industrial parks in the nation. Located in Central Texas within the urban region known as The Texas Triangle – consisting of Austin, San Antonio and Houston – it offers direct access to Loop 110 and easy access to IH-35, I-10 and SH-130. Union Pacific Railway, BNSF Railway and San Marcos Regional Airport are also adjacent to the property providing rail shipping components for businesses that locate there.
Scarborough Lane Development purchased land for this project in third quarter 2021 with Partners Real Estate acting as general manager responsible for marketing and leasing it out. Onsite amenities include water/wastewater infrastructure plus a 600 MW electrical substation with 356 KV transmission line nearby. Clayton Kendall from Scarborough Lane said “AXIS Logistics Park is open for business” adding that “it will serve as a regional distribution hub for retailers, suppliers & manufacturers” making it an ideal location choice when looking at logistics needs across Central Texas or beyond into other parts of America’s South West region .
