JLB Proposing N. Phoenix Mixed-Use Development: A Comprehensive Guide

JLB Partners, based in Dallas, is joining the wave of proposals seeking to take advantage of the $65 billion Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing plant. They are considering a mixed-use development along Loop 101 in North Phoenix.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, JLB recently submitted a zoning application for their 50-acre property located at Mayo Boulevard and 64th Street. The proposed development would be a planned unit development with multiple phases including residential units, hotel rooms, retail space, dining options or office space totaling up to 250,000 square feet on this highly visible site.

In addition to JLB’s plans for their mixed-use project in North Phoenix , Mack Real Estate Group and McCourt Partners have announced their partnership on developing a $7 billion master-planned center with over 30 million square feet of commercial space anchored by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s project.

Construction is also underway nearby for Republic Services Inc.’s new office headquarters campus at CityNorth adjacent to Desert Ridge Marketplace. This further adds excitement and potential growth opportunities for businesses looking into this area as well as residents who will benefit from having more amenities close by.
