Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) recently assisted the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in securing a new headquarters at Franklin Tower, an esteemed Class A office building located at 1401 I St. NW in Washington, DC. The lease covers 20,375 square feet and was facilitated by TRS’s Ganon Rich and Eric West over a period of 15 years. Mark Klug from CBRE represented the building owner.
According to Rich, who has been CIPE’s real estate partner for two decades now, this move is strategically beneficial as it allows them to consolidate onto one floor while also reducing their annual office space costs by more than 30%. This aligns with CIPE’s vision and business goals.
Franklin Tower is situated near Franklin Park in DC’s East End submarket and boasts recent renovations that have added new amenities such as a conference center, tenant lounge, fitness facility on top of first-floor retail options. Notable tenants include Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc., HSBC Holdings plc., Mastercard Incorporated ,and Polsinelli PC law firm.
