"Former Nashville Entertainment Venue Considered for Mixed-Use Development"

WPT Capital Advisors has plans to develop a mixed-use project on the site of the former Starwood Amphitheater. The property, located at 3839 Murfreesboro Pike and previously owned by Live Nation Entertainment Inc., had been unused since its closure in 2007. WPT’s affiliate, Hobson Pike Land, purchased the 65-acre property for $6.5 million in 2020.

The proposed project includes approximately 300 multifamily units,150 townhomes,550,000 square feet of warehouse space,and30 ,000 square feet of office space.The development is part of WPT’s portfolio company Blackstone Inc., a New York-based alternative asset manager with over $1 trillion in assets under management.

The Starwood Amphitheater was once owned by SFX Entertainment and Clear Channel Worldwide before being acquired by Live Nation.It could accommodate more than17 ,100 concert attendees and hosted popular acts such as Judas Priest,Dave Matthews Band,and Pearl Jam.

On their website,WPT showcases a total of33 properties across the United States.Since becoming partof Blackstone Inc.in2021 ,the firm has continued to expand its portfolio with this new venturein Nashville.This exciting mixed-use project will revitalize an iconic entertainment venueand bring new life to this prime location.
