Locus Robotics, a leading provider of AI-driven warehouse automation solutions, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new global headquarters, Locus Park. Located in Wilmington, MA at 100 Fordham Rd., this impressive 157,000-square-foot building was custom-designed for Locus by landlord Carlyle Capital and has the capacity to accommodate up to 400 employees. Currently housing approximately 200 employees, Locus is excited about their continued growth and success.
In addition to unveiling their new headquarters facility, which includes both office space and warehouse capabilities for manufacturing robots used in fulfillment warehouses worldwide,Locus also reached a significant milestone by surpassing four billion “picks” or orders facilitated by their robots. CEO Robert Faulk expressed his enthusiasm for this achievement stating that it not only reflects the company’s success but also highlights the rapidly evolving needs of the global supply chain industry.
Faulk shared with Boston Business Journal that there is potential for further expansion at their new facility if needed. He explained that while there were many available warehouses on the market during their search process,Locushad specific requirements including office space which made finding an ideal location more challenging. However, the newly built facility allows them room to grow as they continue moving products forward and advancingthe entire industry through innovative technology.
