Christopher Todd Capital has recently acquired The Cottage Green, a 314-unit single-family rental property located in Conroe. This marks the company’s first built-to-rent (BTR) acquisition in Texas and was sold by HMF Americana.
According to Commercial Edge, construction debt of $43.1 million was provided by a private lender in 2022 for the development of The Cottage Green. Palmetto MDR partnered with HMF during the development process and the community opened this year.
The community will be renamed as Cottage Living and offers one- to three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 644 to 1,269 square feet. Amenities include two lakes, walking trails, a beach club, swimming pool, gymnasiums with EV charging stations as well as clubhouse facilities including conference rooms among others. Willow Bridge has been appointed as the property management company for this BTR community situated on a sprawling area of 40 acres at Old Conroe Road (15770). Downtown Houston is approximately located about forty miles southeast while Interstate-45 can be found eight miles east from here.
