The center is strategically positioned at the junction of Interstate 94 and 23 Mile Road, serving as a major hub for Detroit’s northeast suburbs.
Octave Holdings and Investments, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, acquired the 276,244-square-foot property. Currently boasting an impressive occupancy rate of 93%, Waterside Marketplace features popular anchor stores such as TJ Maxx,TJ Sierra,Burlington,Best Buy,Ulta,DWS,and Old Navy. Additionally,it is shadow anchored by Aldi,Lowe’s,Dick’s Sporting Goods,and JCPenney.
Leading the transaction were Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Vice President Emily Gadomski,in collaboration with Daniel Stern from Mid-America Real Estate – Michigan Inc., on behalf of seller PMAT Real Estate Investments,a New Orleans-based company with national reach. In addition to its strong anchor lineup,the center also offers a diverse mixof national and regional tenants including Carter’s,Rally House,Kid’s Empire,Five Below,and Bath & Body Works.
