"Planning for the 2nd DFW Office-to-Industrial Project at Foundry"

Foundry Commercial has recently acquired the former Transamerica office building and its accompanying 22 acres of land located at 2700 W. Plano. The company plans to develop an industrial site, known as Plano Midpoint, on this property. This project marks Foundry’s seventh conversion of an office building into an industrial space and their second in Dallas.

The existing 1983 vintage office building spanning over 250,000 square feet will be demolished to make way for two new Class-A industrial buildings with clear heights of up to 32 feet. One building will cover a total area of approximately 226,900 square feet while the other will span around96,100 square feet.

Demolition work is scheduled to begin this month and the construction of the two new buildings is expected to be completed by early2026.

This development follows Foundry’s first successful conversion project in Texas called Horizon Landing which is currently underway in DFW Airport submarket. The first phase of Horizon Landing is set for completion later this year.
