The grand opening of the Midland Lofts apartment in downtown Kansas City was recently celebrated by The Cordish Companies and Kansas City Power & Light District. This historic building, formerly known as the Midland Office Building, has been transformed into 135 modern apartment homes. According to John Sweeney, Managing Director of Residential at The Cordish Companies, leasing for Midland Lofts has exceeded expectations with over 80% occupancy. What’s more impressive is that approximately half of these residents are from outside the KC Metro area.

These units feature open-concept studios and one-bedroom floor plans designed by local firm Helix in collaboration with Rosin Preservation.
