Local, state, and federal officials recently gathered with representatives from the union labor and construction industry at One Boston Wharf in Boston’s Seaport district. The event marked the unveiling of the first sidewalk made with Sublime Systems’ low-carbon cement, which was previously integrated into the building’s interior concrete lobby.

In a deal announced in 2021, Amazon has leased all of the office space within One Boston Wharf as part of WS Development’s 33-acre development in Boston Seaport. The debut Low-Carbon Cement Sidewalks at WS Development’s One Boston Wharf marks another milestone towards creating sustainable buildings that benefit both businesses and communities alike.
