Primark, an international clothing retailer, has signed a lease for its first store in Manhattan at 150 W. 34th St. in Herald Square within Vornado’s PENN District portfolio. The new store will occupy 78,760 square feet and is expected to open sometime in 2026.
According to Primark U.S. president Kevin Tulip, the location was chosen due to its high foot traffic and national influence as well as its proximity to other Primark stores in the boroughs and surrounding areas.
Ed Hogan EVP of retail leasing at Vornado stated that THE PENN DISTRICT is undergoing a transformation into a dynamic new district with top-notch retail, restaurants, and lifestyle offerings.
This will be Primark’s eleventh location in New York State with another one set to open later this year at Queens Center.
