Tebo Properties has successfully sold The Golden Hotel, located in downtown Golden, for a total of $23.5 million. The buyer was local real estate company, The Bailey Co., with the assistance of a $13.5 million loan from Kirkpatrick Bank.
According to reports from the Denver Business Journal, The Golden Hotel was recently recognized as a 2024 Choice Hotels International Gold Award Winner and offers top-notch amenities such as its own restaurant called Bridgewater Grill and an impressive 6,600 square foot ballroom space.
The hotel is situated at 800 11th St., just blocks away from the former location of Golden High School which has been purchased by AC Development Co for an undisclosed amount. This project known as Clayworks will feature various mixed-use spaces including offices that will serve as the new global headquarters for CoorsTek. Additionally, it will include a boutique hotel along with apartments and dining options making it an attractive destination in this area.
