Gorman & Co. has recently opened its second affordable housing community in Atlanta. Hamilton Hills, situated on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near the H.E. Holmes MARTA Station in Southwest Atlanta, offers 52 apartment units with one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts.
Construction for Hamilton Hills began in early 2023 and cost $17.4 million to complete. Despite being a relatively new development, all units are already leased and occupied by residents.
The community is specifically designed for individuals or families earning between 50%-60% of the area median income (AMI). This equates to an annual gross pay of $53,750-$64,500 for a four-person household living in metro Atlanta based on the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) 2024 income limits.
Another Gorman & Co project located along MLK Jr Drive is The Residences at Westview which provides both affordable and market-rate housing options with a total of 60 units available on the city’s Westside neighborhood.
