Z Modular, a company specializing in modular apartment construction, recently acquired land in San Tan Valley for $14.4 million. The purpose of this purchase is to develop a 318-unit apartment project using Z Modular’s unique FLATZ design, which features steel frames and garden-style layouts.
The development will be self-managed by Z Modular and will utilize their offsite manufacturing and on-site general contracting capabilities. This means that units will be built at their Chandler factory before being transported to the San Tan Valley location for final completion.
Insight Land and Investments’ Matt Rinzler represented the seller of the property, Diversified Partners, while Western Retail Advisors’ Jake McClaughry and Brian Gausden represented Z Modular.
The land site is located at the southeast corner of Gantzel Road and El Parque Lane in San Tan Valley. It is strategically positioned just south of LG Energy Solutions’ planned $5.5 billion battery manufacturing complex.
Base4 and STG have been chosen as project architects for this development.
