"Fairfax's Pan Am Shopping Center to Undergo Federal Realty's Rebranding"

Federal Realty Investment Trust has announced the rebranding and renaming of Pan Am Shopping Center in Fairfax, Virginia as part of its ongoing efforts to revitalize the property. The 228,000-square-foot community shopping center will now be known as “Providence Place.”

According to Deirdre Johnson, Senior Vice President at Federal Realty, the new name pays homage to the local community and its history while also providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

The renovation process for Providence Place is currently underway and includes updates such as a refreshed color scheme, upgraded façade features, a new canopy ceiling with modern lighting fixtures, and two trellis structures accompanied by new furniture. Located at 3089 Nutley St., Providence Place is anchored by popular retailers Safeway,Michaels,Micro Center,and CVS Pharmacy. In addition to these anchor stores,the shopping center offers various services and dining options including Glory Days Grill , Starbucks ,and Pro Nails . This exciting transformation aims to enhance both the appearance and functionality of this well-established retail destination.
