A privately-owned transportation and logistics provider, Duie Pyle, has recently purchased a 29-acre site in Cecil County, Maryland. This site is located within the North East Commerce Center, a 100-acre business community owned and developed by Stewart Properties and St. John Properties Inc., with its headquarters in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
The acquisition cost $2.195 million and was facilitated by Andrew Meeder and Dan Hudak of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services LLC on behalf of the buyer while Sean Doordan and Alex Lyons from St. John Properties represented the seller.
Duie Pyle plans to utilize this new location to construct a service center that will support their transportation logistics services as well as supply chain operations for various industries such as agriculture, automotive, food & beverage healthcare manufacturing,and retail.
The North East Commerce Center is situated at the intersection of North East Roadand Lums RoadinNorthEast,Maryland.The current tenants include Delmarva Power,FedEx,a Herr’s distribution facility,and other businesses.
