Workbox, a workspace operator based in Chicago, is relocating more than 20 employees from River North to their newly opened corporate headquarters in Fulton Market. This decision comes after the company raised $17.5 million in Series A funding back in June with the goal of expanding its presence throughout the United States.
In just under three years, Workbox has experienced significant growth and now employs over 35 individuals nationwide. The majority of their Chicago-based team will be moving to their new location at 220 N Green Street, which boasts over 60,000 square feet and is currently the largest workspace operated by Workbox in Chicago.
According to John Wallace, CEO and Co-Founder of Workbox: “Fulton Market is an ideal location for our target market of companies that we work with at Workbox. We also believe that being physically close to our members allows us to better understand their needs and provide them with top-notch service.” He added: “We are thrilled about this move as it will allow us to grow alongside some of the most dynamic companies within this city.”
