"Reconstruction of Chicago Heights Warehouse by Morgan Li Manufacturing Company Following Fire"

Morgan Li, a family-owned furniture and fixture fabricator, has recently enlisted Principle Construction to build two new buildings in Chicago Heights. This comes after a fire destroyed one of the company’s previous warehouses in February 2023.

According to Principle President Jim Brucato, the construction project will involve utilizing leftover rubble and concrete slab from the previous building as fill for the foundation and slab of the new facility. The site spans 14.5 acres and will feature two buildings: Building A with 237,756 square feet (including 230,298 square feet of warehouse space and 5,122 square feet of office space) and Building B with a total area of38 ,263 square feet (including36 ,360squarefeetofwarehouseand1 ,143squarefeetofoffice).

Leading this project are Principle’s Darrin Dehmlow as well as Andrew Mackintosh serving as project managers while Dave Plunkett is overseeing it all as superintendent. Designhaus Inc Architecture was responsible for designing these new facilities.
