"Design Firm Leases 11K-SF Space in Downtown Columbia with Howard Hughes"

Howard Hughes has recently signed a lease for 11,600 square feet of space at 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway in Downtown Columbia. The space is located within one of the seven office buildings known as Merriweather Row.

The design firm Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), which is headquartered in New York, will be relocating from their current location at 11000 Broken Land Parkway to occupy the entire ninth floor of the building. GPI has a team of over 1,800 professionals including engineers, planners, scientists and technicians.

This move aligns with Howard Hughes’ comprehensive plan to revitalize Downtown Columbia over the next three decades by creating a more walkable community with residential areas as well as commercial spaces such as offices and retail stores. Last year saw Howard Hughes complete renovations on Merriweather Row which included new amenities like tenant lounges, a golf simulator and fitness centers along with bike storage and pathways connecting tenants to other parts of Downtown Columbia.

This exciting development was reported by Connect CRE.
