"Transamerica Pyramid Center Unveils $1B "Remastering" Renovation"

The Transamerica Pyramid Center, located on the northern edge of San Francisco’s Financial District, has recently undergone a $1 billion investment by SHVO and Deutsche Finance in partnership with renowned architect Lord Norman Foster and his firm Foster + Partners. The iconic Transamerica Pyramid building, along with its neighboring buildings Two and Three Transamerica, have been transformed to include private amenities and expanded public spaces.

According to Michael Shvo, chairman & CEO of SHVO: “Together with my colleague Lord Norman Foster, we have reimagined the Transamerica Pyramid to ensure it remains ahead of its time. This remastering will usher in a new era for this historic block as a vibrant hub for business, creativity,and community.”

A morning ceremony hosted by New York-based development firm SHVO marked the grand reopening of the revamped Transamerica Pyramid Center. Guests and dignitaries gathered to celebrate this milestone event which also coincided with the launch of SHVO’s new series called “Pyramid Arts.” This initiative aims to showcase innovation and creativity across various fields including artsand sciences through public exhibitions at the center.
