"Tucson Business Park: Lincoln Building with 1 Million Square Feet"

Lincoln Property Company has begun construction on Phase I of I-10 International, a top-of-the-line industrial project located near Tucson International Airport. This development will span over 79 acres and upon completion, will offer more than 1 million square feet of space.

The first phase is estimated to cost $75 million and will consist of two warehouse/distribution buildings totaling 373,811 square feet. Building 1 will cover an area of 158,944 square feet while Building 2 will be slightly larger at 214,867 square feet. Additionally, there are plans for a third building with an area of approximately188,434-square-feet that will be built based on market demand. The land for this project was purchased from Diamond Ventures in Tucson for $6.5 million.

In addition to Phase I’s developments , Lincoln also owns another parcel measuring about42 .3 acres at the site which can accommodate future Class A industrial projects that would bring the total size to over one million square feet.

David Krumwiede from Lincoln stated that Tucson offers ample land availability as well as excellent logistical advantages making it an ideal location for this type of development . He also mentioned their positive experience working with local government officials who have been supportive throughout the process .

Brinkmann Constructors has been selected as the general contractor for Phase I while Butler Design Group and Ware Malcomb are collaborating on its design.
