"MF Developer Purchasing Property in Redmond from Microsoft"

Microsoft Corporation is in the process of selling a property located on the outskirts of their campus in Redmond, Washington. The buyer, American Capital Group, plans to develop an apartment complex on the 5.2-acre site.

According to BJ Kuula, co-owner and President of American Capital Group, construction for the project is expected to begin in either spring or summer of 2026. The Puget Sound Business Journal reported this information.

The property at 3050 152nd Ave NE will be listed by CBRE and is situated across from the new Redmond Technology Link Station. The sale is set to close by late 2025 with an assessed value of $41.5 million.

Of the total number of units (641), eighty percent will be available at market rate while remaining twenty percent will fall under rent restrictions through Redmond’s multifamily tax exemption program.
