CBRE’s National Retail Partners-West division successfully completed the sale of Plaza Rancho Del Oro, a regional center spanning 65,054 square feet in Oceanside. The property is anchored by Albertsons and Planet Fitness and was acquired by a high-net-worth individual from Los Angeles for $34,311,000 at a rate of $527 per square foot.
This marks the third coastal grocery-anchored shopping center sold by CBRE’s team in Southern California within the last two months. The total consideration for these three transactions amounts to over $137 million. Along with Plaza Rancho Del Oro, CBRE also recently closed deals on Santa Ana Centre ($46,475,000) in Santa Ana and Marketplace Del Rio ($56,6000) also located in Oceanside.
The transaction was led by Jimmy Slusher James Tyrrell and Megan Lanni from CBRE’s NRP-West team who represented A&C Properties – a private investment firm based out of Phoenix that specializes in grocery-anchored shopping centers across the Southwest region. They were supported by leasing experts Reg Kobzi Michael Peterson Joel Wilson from CBRE San Diego.
Overall this successful sale highlights CBRE’s expertise and strong track record when it comes to closing deals on prime retail properties with top-tier tenants such as Albertsons and Planet Fitness.
