In 2024, WinnCompanies granted a total of $70,000 in scholarships to support the post-secondary education of 58 residents living in WinnResidential-managed apartment communities. Additionally, 12 dependents of company team members also received scholarships for their academic pursuits at colleges, universities or professional trade schools.
These scholarship recipients hail from various states across the country – with a majority (43) residing in WinnResidential communities and another 15 residing in properties managed by WinnResidential Military Housing Services.
According to Gilbert Winn, CEO of WinnCompanies: “The WinningEdge Scholarship program is just one way we demonstrate our commitment towards enhancing the lives and communities we serve.” Since its inception back in 2012, this program has awarded over $710k worth of scholarships to more than six hundred individuals. This year’s recipients are just another step towards investing into brighter futures for both resident families and employees alike.
