Buda Greenlights $27 Million Mixed-Use Development

A new mixed-use development is in the works for Buda, located just south of Austin. The 18.5-acre project, known as The White Oak District, will feature a combination of medical facilities, restaurants and office space. Local developers Moontower Groups and MNO Partners have joined forces to bring this project to life and are planning to break ground this spring at its location on 1065 FM 967.

The Buda City Council has unanimously approved an incentive package worth up to $2.5 million along with a performance agreement for the development’s construction. As part of the agreement, the city will provide a fee credit of up to $1.1 million towards building an 8-acre park within the development site. Additionally, developers will receive tax breaks on property and sales taxes.
