Investcorp has acquired the Havana 37 Business Park from BKM Capital Partners for a total of $18 million. The property, located at 3700 N. Havana St., is a three-building industrial complex spanning over 150,000 square feet in Denver’s Central Park community. As part of the deal, BKM will continue to manage the property on behalf of Investcorp.
This transaction was part of a larger recapitalization effort by BKM that involved five light industrial properties across the United States totaling $110 million.
BKM originally purchased this Denver property in October 2019 for $14.75 million and implemented a repositioning plan to attract top-notch tenants shortly after acquisition. According to reports from the Denver Business Journal, this strategy proved successful as the complex is currently leased at an impressive rate of 95%. Tenants include various businesses such as CPA firms, distributors and even a cycling manufacturer.
The recent sale marks Investcorp and BKM’s sixth transaction together since forming their partnership in early-2021 according to statements made by BKM representatives.
