Bee Cave Backyard Revival: A Hopeful Comeback

Backyard Partners, a development group from Bee Cave, is hoping to start work on a mixed-use project that will revitalize the Backyard entertainment venue in Bee Cave. The Austin Business Journal reported the City Council approved $3.25 million in incentives to build a road servicing an expanding entertainment corridor in the city which includes Spanish Oaks and Hill Country Galleria alongside the revamped Backyard project. The road serves as an impetus for numerous uses planned by developers such as housing and restaurants across 28 acres of land, along with its 35 acre music venue comprised of 12 different food, beverage, music and culture offerings including offices, hotel accommodation and community center according to its website.

The Backyard first opened back in 1993 before hosting its last concert event five years ago – now it’s looking forward towards making a comeback!
