"California Welcomes T&T: Canada's Popular Asian Grocery Chain Makes Its Debut in San Jose"

T&T Supermarket Inc., a popular Asian grocery chain based in Canada, is set to open its first store in California and third store in the United States next year. The new location will be at San Jose’s Westgate Center, filling a 55,000-square-foot space that was previously occupied by Walmart Neighborhood. T&T was represented by advisors from The Econic Company and CBRE.

The landlord for the Westgate Center, Federal Realty, was also represented by Econic Company. Located at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road in San Jose, Westgate Center is a prime location for T&T’s expansion into California.

Founder and principal of Econic Company James Chung expressed his excitement about partnering with T&T on their entry into the U.S market. He praised T&T as Canada’s largest Asian grocery chain under Loblaw Companies family leadership and highlighted their commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience through their employees’ culture.

CBRE Americas retail leader Laura Barr added that there is high demand for quality products like those offered by T&T Supermarket among consumers who are eagerly anticipating its opening at Westgate Center. She also expressed her anticipation for future developments as more locations begin to open across stateside.
