Hilco Real Estate (HRE) has recently expanded its real estate receivership practice with the addition of experienced industry professionals. The firm, based in Northbrook, IL, has hired Matthew Mason as Senior Vice President and he is bringing a team of experts with him to HRE.
Mason brings 24 years of experience in real estate and fiduciary services to HRE. His background includes working with institutional clients, lenders, and private investors on distressed real estate projects. He also has extensive experience serving as a court-appointed receiver for over 200 retail, office multifamily industrial hotel mixed-use properties.
Joining Mason at HRE are Andrew Streeter who specializes in asset management for distressed assets through takeover and disposition processes; Robert Jones who brings 20 years of expertise in asset management property leasing negotiation and disposition; Spencer Ruberti who has more than 15 years of experience specializing in commercial real estate receiverships for distressed assets.
