The Chevy Chase Land Company, a company that invests in and manages commercial real estate properties throughout the Washington metro area, has recently announced the sale of Chase Manor to Toll Brothers Inc. The site will be transformed into a new luxury townhome community called Chevy Chase Crossing.
Chase Manor was originally built in 1952 and is located in the heart of Chevy Chase. The property spans almost four acres and previously housed 67 garden-style apartments. However, it now sits vacant as Toll Brothers prepares to develop it into a residential community consisting of 63 townhouses under the same name.
Nimita Shah, Division President for Toll Brothers’ D.C Metro area division expressed excitement about this project stating, “We are thrilled at the opportunity to create another exceptional community in such a prime location within Chevy Chase.” She also noted that residents will have easy access to various amenities including walking distance from both an upcoming Purple Line Metro stop currently being constructed and neighboring development project known as Chevy Chase Lake.
