George Comfort & Sons, Inc. has finalized two lease agreements for a total of 104,000 square feet at their 25-story office tower in Times Square South, located at 498 Seventh Ave. These leases have brought the occupancy level of the property to an impressive 95%.
One of the deals is with PubMatic, Inc., a public technology company that has signed on for a new lease of 60,000 square feet. Currently occupying only one floor as a subtenant at the tower’s entire18th floor, PubMatic will expand to occupy both the entire18th and19th floors by early2025.
In addition to this deal with PubMatic, George Comfort & Sons also secured a long-term lease extension with Hazen and Sawyer – an engineering firm that has been renting space in their building since1999. The extension ensures that Hazen and Sawyer will continue to call498 Seventh Ave.their headquarters untilat least2035.They currently occupy44 ,000square feet acrosstheentire11 thfloor.
