Publix is making progress on its plans to construct a new grocery store worth $14 million at Nocatee Town Center in St. Johns County. The store will cover an area of 48,387 square feet and will have an attached liquor store spanning 2,100 square feet. Additionally, the center will feature two other retail pads. Located between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Nocatee is set to become home to this exciting development.
According to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s report, the project involves developing nearly 11 acres of land south of Nocatee Parkway near Valley Ridge Boulevard and west of U.S.1.The property developer for this venture is SONOC Company LLC while England-Thims & Miller Inc., based in Jacksonville, has been appointed as the civil engineer for the project with Ervin Lovett Miller also from Jacksonville serving as architecture and planning associate.Skinner Bros.Realty has been chosen by Publix as their development manager for this particular undertaking.
