Rental Community Development at Former Bradenton Mall Location

Peachtree Group has granted Madison Capital Group a $47 million construction loan for their latest project, Madison Bradenton. This 240-unit multifamily development will be situated on the former site of DeSoto Square Mall in Bradenton, Florida.

The complex will consist of five four-story buildings and two carriage homes, all featuring luxurious amenities. These include a clubhouse with a demonstration kitchen, cyber lounge, resort-style pool with cabanas, outdoor kitchen and grilling areas, fitness center and dog park.

Madison Bradenton is the first ground-up development to take place at the former DeSoto Square Mall location. The project covers 7.5 acres of land southeast of the previous Sears store which closed its doors in 2018. The old Sears building has since been transformed into a Go Store It self-storage facility.

BenCo serves as the general contractor for this project while Slocum Platts Architects handles architecture duties and Cavoli Engineering Inc takes care of engineering needs. Construction is scheduled to commence immediately with an estimated completion date set for early 2026.
