UTSA and JLL are seeking proposals for a lead development team to create plans, secure funding, manage operations, and maintain a mixed-use project on 28.46 acres of university-owned land at the intersection of North Loop 1604 West and Kyle Seale Parkway. The deadline for submissions is August 14, 2024.
JLL’s Mark Krenger, Nina Farrell, and Connor Russell are acting as UTSA’s real estate advisors.
The site is located at UTSA’s Park West Campus in close proximity to the main campus as well as other prominent locations such as USAA headquarters, Valero headquarters,and popular shopping centers like La Cantera and The RIM. It consists of two parcels: one measuring 6.07 acres and the other measuring22.39 acres.The goal is to find a development partner who shares UTSA’s vision for creating pedestrian-friendly mixed-use projects that enhance density while providing more amenitiesand activitiesfor both studentsand surrounding San Antonio communities.The chosen developer will enter intoa ground lease agreement with UTSA.
