"New Facility to be Built by Samsung Supplier with $575M Investment"

The Samsung plant in Taylor, worth $17 billion, continues to provide ongoing benefits. Its presence has created numerous economic opportunities within the Austin metro area.

Soulbrain Holdings is making progress towards constructing a new phosphoric acid plant on 85 acres of land at the RCR Taylor Logistics Park. The company successfully negotiated for incentives from the Taylor City Council, solidifying their plans.

With an initial investment of $175 million and a projected second phase costing $400 million, Soulbrain is committed to this project. Construction for phase one will begin in January 2029 and be completed by January 2033; while construction for phase two will start in January 2029 and finish by January 2033.

In just one year (from 2022-2023), the economic impact of this new plant on the Taylor area has nearly doubled from $13.6 billion to an impressive $26.8 billion.
