"Chicken Salad Chick Expands into Metro DC with Fast-Casual Chain"

The popular fast-casual restaurant, Chicken Salad Chick, is expanding into the Northern Virginia suburbs of Metro Washington, D.C. The first location will be opening in August at 7505 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church’s Idylwood Plaza. This plaza is anchored by a Whole Foods Market and was previously home to Jason’s Deli. Customers can enjoy outdoor dining on the patio at this new location.

Chicken Salad Chick offers a variety of delicious chicken salad flavors made from scratch, as well as side salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. The chain originated in Atlanta and has partnered with local franchisee Devon Chamberlin to bring their tasty menu options to Northern Virginia.

This Falls Church location marks the beginning of Chicken Salad Chick’s expansion into Northern Virginia with plans for eight more locations in the area. Since its founding in Auburn Alabama back in 2008, this chain has grown rapidly and now boasts 260 restaurants across 19 states. In addition to their upcoming locations in Northern Virginia, they also have existing restaurants throughout other parts of Virginia including Richmond area locations as well as Hampton,Norfolk,Roanoke,and Christiansburg.
