Brickstone Partners has secured a $58 million refinancing for its Fort Collins portfolio from Blackstone. The portfolio, which includes The Junction Apartments and The Alpine Apartments, comprises 288 units and 9,390 square feet of retail space. Brickstone acquired the properties in 2021 with a focus on catering to the thriving student population at Colorado State University.
In order to enhance the value of these assets, Brickstone completed extensive renovations on both properties’ unit interiors in 2022. According to Daniel Otis of Brickstone Partners, their success lies in identifying unique markets and implementing innovative strategies for growth. Their approach targets strong markets with solid fundamentals.
With over $800 million invested since 2013 in Boulder and Fort Collins’ growing real estate market, Brickstone Partners is one of Colorado’s largest operators specializing in student-focused multifamily housing. This recent refinancing deal further solidifies their position as a top investor within this niche market segment.
