Hillwood is making significant progress on its ambitious project, Landmark, a sprawling master-planned community in Denton. Spanning over 3,200 acres and featuring 6,000 homes upon completion, this development is set to become the largest of its kind in the area.

Originally acquired by the Perot family back in 1987,the property’s most notable feature is Pilot Knob -the highest point within Denton city limits. This unique geological and ecological site holds historical significance for Indigenous peoples,farmers,and cattle drivers alike,making it fittingly named “Landmark.”
The visionary master plan centers around an impressive1 ,100-acre green ecosystem anchored by a sprawling300-acre park district that encompasses Pilot Knob and surrounding hillsides.
