Investor Suffers Loss on Plantation Apartment Sale

In 2014, Nuveen Real Estate acquired a rental community in Plantation for $52 million. Recently, the property was sold to Clarion Partners for $49.35 million.

The Manor in Plantation is a 197-unit complex built on a 2.63-acre site adjacent to the former American Express campus. The development spans over 355,087 square feet and features a six-story building with 181 apartments and separate three-story townhouses totaling sixteen units. Residents can enjoy various amenities such as a clubhouse, fitness center, and pool.

The apartment units at The Manor range from 754 to1 ,393 square feet with rental prices ranging from $1 ,978 to$4 ,882 .

As of December31st2023,Nuveen Real Estate holds assets worth $147 billion making it one of the largest investment managers globally.Clarion Partners boasts an impressive portfolio of1500 properties valued at$75 billion.

This recent transaction marks an investor taking loss on their sale of The Manor in Plantation.
